St Patrick’s Technical College Northern Adelaide (formerly the Australian Technical College – Northern Adelaide) opened in 2006 with the aim of helping students complete their year 11 and 12 SACE while developing the skills needed for a successful trade career.  The College works to provide employers with a source of well prepared, dedicated young people who are ready to work in their industry.
St Patrick’s Technical College Northern Adelaide offers an alternative to the traditional secondary pathway.  Year 11 and 12 students combine study towards a traditional South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) with formal trade training at Certificate III in an Australian school-based Apprenticeship (ASbA).

Students at St Patrick’s Technical College Northern Adelaide are able to commence a nationally accredited Certificate III apprenticeship in one of six industries

• Automotive
• Building and Construction
• Commercial Cookery
• Electro Technology
• Metal and Engineering
• Hairdressing
